ABBEY ROAD MODERN DRUMMER is one of my favourite
contemporary drum virtual instrument. It comes with two world-class drum kits
recorded at famous Abbey Road Studios. Abbey Road Modern Drummer is especially
wonderful for creating contemporary pop and rock tracks. It comes with a
brilliant Groove Library and superb effects.
You may have herd about ABBEY ROAD MODERN DRUMS. In fact
MODERN DRUMMER is an upgrade – an enhanced version of MODERN DRUMS. The upgrade
has been done in order to integrate developments brought by KONTKT 5. DRUMMER
instruments have Groove library feature and Mixer Section from Studio Drummer.
ABBEY ROAD MODERN DRUMMER comes with two drum kits.
Comparing with BFD 2, with which you can compose a dozen of drum kits, it may
seem to few, however these kits deliver very different and rich contemporary drum
sounds. You may choose between three snares per kit and the kits come with
famous and well beloved Zildjian Spiral Trash and the Sabian Chopper. Sparkle
Kit is especially useful when recording pop and ballads, while White Kit gives
you more drive.
One thing I love most about ABBEY ROAD MODERN DRUMMER is
that using it you can complete the production of your drum track within the
instrument. It comes with a mixer section full of high-quality studio effects
like reverb, saturation, studio compressor, transient master, studio EQ. When I
use MODERN DRUMMER I am in no need of external effects.With this mixer and
effects you can get the most realistic, rich sound for your music track.
However we may all agree that sound is not the only thing we
may look for in the virtual instruments like Abbey Road Modern Drummer. For
amateurs and professionals alike Groove Libraries are of great importance and I
am no exception. It is extremely easy and convenient to find the right Groove
for your track and then modify it rather than create the MIDI pattern fully yourself.
